If you drive into Philly for work, there’s a chance you park your vehicle in a parking garage. Parking garages in Philly are extremely popular. Since safety is always a top priority, we wanted to give you a few safety tips. Although some of these tips may seem redundant, it’s important to always put health and caution first.
Before You Exit Your Vehicle:
- Make sure you park in a well-lit area.
- Always lock your doors and roll-up all of your windows
After Exiting Your Vehicle:
- Make sure that you have all of your personal belongings.
- Be aware of the things around you.
- Avoid staring at your phone and/or texting.
- Be alert after reaching the elevator or the stairs.
Returning Back To Your Vehicle:
- Unlock your vehicle only once you are close to it.
- Lock the doors as soon as you get back in your car.
- Put on your seatbelt.
- Turn on your vehicle and exit the garage.
